I am have a discrepancy in coordinates for the same point using Map 3D. Using a program Blue Marble I convert my PLSS SPC coordinate into a local projection, then import into a C3D drawing which is also defined with the local projection. I then link using FDO to an SDE layer that has those same coordinates in SPC and bring them into the same C3D drawing. At this point I notice an error of anywhere from 0.3' to 0.8'.
Any ideas where this problem may be? The issue appears to be in Map 3D when it translates the SDE layer's SPCoordniates to the local projection. Edited by: SLColorado on Oct 16, 2009 6:50 PM

First thing:
Verify that you don't have a conflict between "FEETS". There is "US Survey
Foot" and "International Foot".

I am working in the correct feet for both. I have since found that the error is almost entirely in the Northings, and progresses larger the further northeast you go from the false origin.

This could be a scale factor issue if the error gets larger as the coords
get larger. Are all significant digits the same?
