i'm having a problem with .dwg files returning segmentation violations in Arcview. these files have been functional for months in both acad map and arcview. recently, when the files are opened (and closed) in map with no editing being performed on the files, the .dwg will no longer function in arcview. i have cadreader on, and plenty of system resources. can acad map sneek new objects or entities into the .dwg? is it somehow changing the attribute tables? has anyone experienced anything remotely like this? my gut feeling is that this is an acad map issue and not an arcview issue. any help is greatly appreciated!!
