query in external database attributes

Hello AutoCAD Map 2000i Users,

I have a source drawing that contains text that I use as the link item (i.e.
primary key) to the dbf data source. I'm able to create the link template,
select objects in the model space and see the linked table in the data view
window. Problem is I want to query in some fields from the data source. When
I define a new Query in the Query Library of the Map Project Workspace, I
don't see any other fields besides the link item. Any ideas how to get
external data into AutoCAD Map?

Look at the alter properties in the query dialog box. Select text and the
fields that you want.
