no dialog boxes (and both cmddia and filedia = 1)

Hi.
Is there a known solution for the problem below?
I'm experiencing the same.

And expert (another system variable) = 0 ("all prompts are issued
normally").

I suspect it is some ACADMap's setting.

Any hint?

It looks like your Tools-->options->support paths are not properly set.
Click on Tools-->Options-->File Tab
Click on 'Support File serch path' tree node click on add and enter the
full path where support directory is located from your map installation
directory.
For example on my system
D:\Program Files\AdeskMap5\support
D:\Program Files\AdeskMap5\fonts
D:\Program Files\AdeskMap5\help

Make sure you have above entries and close the Map and start the Map again.
