Joan,
the world UCS has to 'mirrow' option. Please check if the coordinate
system symbol (the x/y arrows displayed in the lower left corner of the
drawing) show a little square at the origin (a W in former ACAD
versions). Then you're sure the UCS is set to world. If there's no
square, enter UCS at the command line and select/enter the option to get
back to the world UCS.
If you are in UCS world mode and the drawing is still mirrowed then do
the following:
1- Go into the Tools menu and select 'Named UCS' or enter _+ucsman at
the command line. On the 'Named UCS' tab all available UCSs are listed
and the current one is selected. Check what it said about the Current
UCS just above that list. It should be 'Top'.
If it's set to 'Bottom' or anything else, exit the dialog box and choose
View > 3D Views > Top. That should solve the problem.
2- If not, could your Map coordinate system settings cause this
behaviour, because you might use a projection that distorts the objects
so they look similar to mirrowed? To me that seems very unlikely,
though.
