linetypes/dashed lines not working

I'm having a time just trying to get some simple dashed lines to show up. Some show up properly in the layout, some don't, some print properly, some don't. The linetype, linetype scale, etc, everything is all the same, but some work and some don't. What else can I try here? Plot styles? Any ideas appreciated...

What type of entity are you having problems with? Linetypes do not display or plot when applied to 3D Polylines.

thanks for the response. Not working in 3D here, I'm stumped because this should be very simple, just have some regular old poly lines and splines that are supposed to be dashed.

PSLTSCALE in the viewport, also make sure each line
pline spline is at the same ltscale.

Also make sure that Linetype Generation is
enabled.

It appears you are coming into the discussion groups via the HTTP
web side. Go to the Customer Files group at
http://discussion.autodesk.com/WebX?14@@.ee940b5 and post your
file as below. Then come back to this group and leave a note that
your file is posted.

You should see three boxes on your screen. The top of the left
box has a dark block of text that says "Post New Topic". Click on
that icon and a new text box appears on the lower right. Type in
a subject line, fill in your message and then at the bottom of
the text box you will see Enclosures: with a browse button.
Browse to your own computer location for the file (PLEASE ZIP if
at all possible; obviously jpgs don't zip).

Once all is filled in, click on Post New Topic. You may have to
leave the newsgroup and come back to see your own post.

There's a few things with that dwg that I don't
like seeing. MHO

First run an audit on it, I got a lot of errors
undefinned shapes (or someting)

Second, look into the PLINEGEN sys var. (help file
explaines it)

Third, Don't assign a thickness to the lines/plines
if all you are doing is 2d. (may of been confused with pline
thickness)

Last, some of distances between the vertexa on the
plines are so short there is not enought room to show dashes (see #2
above)
