MapGuide will use whatever coordinates you set as the coordinate system;
they can be state planes, UTM, or whatever.
The Report option of the Define Query command can produce a list of X,Y (and
Z) coordinates for objects in a query. Define a query, then select the
Report option; from the Expression area, choose Properties; from the list
select either X coordinate of start point (to get the X value) or Object
Start Point (to get X,Y, and Z).
You can also get a list of things like block name from the same list, or
attribute values from the Data list.
Hope this helps,
David
