import points file to map

Is there an easy way to import a points file to Map.

I have a text file containing Northerly, Easterly and elevation information
and would like to import these points into Map 4. Additionally I would like
to place point objects at each point.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Lee

Check out Tony Ts site @ http://www.caddzone.com

Check out his 'Free Stuff' section and there you will find a great lisp
routine: ASCPOINT
which allows the import of an ascii point file.

Hope this helps
