growing file

I have several seperate .dwg files that are normally from 600 to 900KB large. For some reason I now have a handfull of these files that are approaching 30MG in size and seem to grow at an alarmimg rate when a change is made and saved. On screen, with all layers thawed, I see nothing out of the ordinary. Saving these large files in different versions seems to make little difference in size.....I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

you need the cleanregapp. you can run it on an entire directory and it will clean unwanted junk from your dwg's. if you get one file that has balooned in size it will infect so to speak the entire job.

i have a job we are working on that i do this process every monday am just to make sure it stays clean. we get tons of consultant files that are messy and it slows down the entiere job.

you should be able to do a search to find the file above.
