eDuplicateRecordName??

I'm trying to query a drawing using a draw query, so that I can
transform the coords. Everything works perfectly if I just do a preview
query, but as soon as I try to make a draw query on this (or ANY like
it) dwg, I get an AutoCAD Map message...Only 1 message.
"eDuplicateRecordName"...Message code = 95. I've already read that this
could be due to problems with tables, but none of these drawings (or the
one that I'm trying to query to) have any tables attached to them.

I've tried the suggestion from the knowledgebase that suggests I wblock
the dwg that I'm trying to query. Did that as per all the steps....No
change. Anyone have any thoughts??

Andrew,

one of the reasons for this message could be an unresolved xref. Try WBLOCK,
DXFOUT etc. to get rid of it.

Thanks for the reply. DXFOUT doesn't exist anymore...atleast, not like
it did prior to 2004 (it now just opens 'save as'..you can only save as
a dwg). WBLOCK hasn't solved my problem either. Any other thoughts?

Hello Andrew.

Just do a 'Save As' and change the 'Files of type' to DXF file.

Hope this helps
