drainage divide

Hi,
Does anyone know how to get the drainage divide lines from a layer with contour lines?
Should I use Autodesk Civil 3D instead? How can I do it?
Thank you

Civil 3D with Watersheds. I think it can be done in Map but will take more prep of the data.

Not to be snarky, but I have found it waaaay faster and straight forward to
simple "Read" the contours and place a pline by hand. By the time you finish
muckin' round with Watershed settings et al you would probably have it drawn

Hi Kevin, How do you deal with the "drainage notch" and "Flat area"
boundaries created with that? Out Tributary area maps do not typically
included those; (we have a mad scientist that decides where the water wants
to go, for us )

Check your shp file resources from states, counties, towns, etc. many have
watershed files available.
