automatically create the bound (polyline or polygon) of an hatch

I've got the hatches but I've not got the polylines bordering the hatches.
Is it possible to automatically create the bound (polyline or polygon) of an
hatch ?
Thanks in advance
Paolo

Paolo,

When you open the hatch dialogue box, select the advanced tab, then
select "Retain boundaries" under Object type.

Gary
Do you know if this lsp routine would still be needed today in order to batch recreate boundary objects from hatch objects or if it can be done now out of the box? if the lsp routine is still needed to accomplish this, would you mind sharing it with me?
Thanks!
Michele

gcallahan, A little off topic but how hard is it to get into urscorp? I applied for a bunch of GIS positions and never heard anything.
