auto cad 2008 map 3d

I have a copy of autocad 2008, I am trying to register it, but it tells me my SN# is wrong. I have tried to contact auto desk, however they say they do not support it anymore. I just want to get it working , one of my clients AT&T uses only 2008 NO exceptions
