WMS Map scale problem

I have a problem where as after I  connect and attach a map via WMS and I measure road ways. everything is 1/3 the size it should be ( a 12' wide lane measure  4units (feet))

I open a new DWG,

I connect to my WMS provider, set Server CS Code to "EPSG:3857" and click "add to Map"

check the distances and its at 1/3 of actual size.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Hi,

welcome @forums.autodesk.com !

>> attach a map via WMS

Is it a free WMS service? If so let us know what server that is (how to access it) + let us know what you have set as units in the _UNITS dialog? So we can try ourselves.

The version of Map3D (and servicepack) you are using might be helpful too.

Ive tried Unitless and Feet with the same results

I try assigning a cordinate system (us survey foot) but the cordinate transformation always fails.
