Upsidedown plot results for charts

I am trying to plot/publish to DWF a DWG to send to someone but everytime I do so, the linked excel charts are plotted upside down.

Situtation:
--When plotted to the plotter, the charts are plotted correctly as the settings are
--When plotting to DWF the charts are plotted upsidedown.
--I even clicked the "upside down plotting" option in the plot menu but I get the same result.
--The plot preview shows the DWF as it should be but then when you view the create DWF file the charts are upside down.

Has anyone had this problem and possibly come up with a solution?

....also I am having trouble plotting another DWG to DWF where the background image (large Tiff file, unfortunately) is plotted in pieces and not in its entirely. Any help here would be greatly appreciated as well!

You may need to ask in the DWF group if you haven't already.

There's a DWF group?

I will have to look for that.. hopefully it is just another group in the list of discussion groups.

Thanks

Is your UCS set to world? Have you got a different UCS for your viewports?

UCS is set for World

Unfortunately I have been given this particular work/sheet from someone else who used to work here and did EVERYTHING in model space.... so there are no viewports to access.

The linked Excel charts (OLE objects I would call them but we did not use the "insert OLE object" command but the special paste command).

I tried another program to go straight from DWG to PDF and the chart came out fine except that the chart was faded so I jsut put a wipeout box behind it.

I would still like to figure out why the charts rotates 180deg to be upside down when I plot to DWF. It would be nice to have a DWF and PDF file as a submission backup.

My suggestion is to WBLOCK all the linework into another drawing and try attaching the OLE's again.
