Unwind error occurs during caom-CreateLabel call

When I make the call to create a Label using (setq link-result (vl-catch-all-apply 'caom-CreateLabel (list objLinkTemplate obj-id objKeyValues "POLE-NO" nil) )) The following error occurs. ; error: Exception occurred: 0xC0000005 (Access Violation) ; warning: unwind skipped on unknown exception This error ends the routine and does not make it to the next call vl-catch-all-error-p What could be causing this and what is the solution? by the way (setq link-result (vl-catch-all-apply 'caom-CreateLink (list objLinkTemplate obj-id objKeyValues) )) works just fine. COM is loaded The CAO lib is loaded The LabelTemplate exists
