Transparency using Themes

I am using Autocad Map 3D 2007 and I am struggling with creating a theme to make a transparent hatch. I follow the directions in Help but I can't seem to find the 'Edit Display Style'. I guess maybe I'm doing it wrong to begin with. Does anyone have knowledge about doing this? I'm not all that familiar with Display Manager so I'd need pretty good directions. Thanks.
