Track Coordinates.

Hai,

In map menu>>Tools>>there is an option of Track coordinates.
Its fine it gives me the coordinates of the map.

But its not showing me the assigned coordinate system of the map?

Is that we have to change the Map coordinate system manually everytime to see the coordinates?

Thanks in advance,
Darshan.

By default, the tracker shows the coordinates for
the coordinate system in the DWG. So you have to assign a coordinate system to
the drawing first. However, the real use of the tracker is set a different coord
system to the tracker from the DWG.

Hi Darshan,

You can set the coordinate system the tracker uses
by clicking on the globe button.  If you move your mouse over it, it should
say, "select coordinate system".  The tracker will display whatever
coordinate system you select for it.   You also need to have a
coordinate system assigned in your current drawing.  To do this, go to
Map--Tools--Assign Global Coordinate System.

I do have a coordinate system already defined.
But it is not showing the assigned coordinate system in the track coordinate dialog box.

What could be the problem?

Darshan.
