The Ribbon in 2012

I usually use Map Classic (2D-drafting) view as opposed to the other two options. I sometimes switch to the other workspaces for some other GIS tasks.

 

The problem I'm having is that in the other two workspaces the ribbons are now stuck as vertical floating ribbons. This never happened in 2011, they were always at the top.

 

Anyone know how to make them horizontal again and locked in place at the top? I have tried dragging them but no luck.

Have you tried righ-clicking on the bar and see if "Allow Docking" is turned on?

I have allow docking selected. But looks like the only options are to dock left and dock right. Can't seem to be able to drag it back to the top..
