Snapping and Viewing of Shapefile Features in Map

I have several shapefiles that I have brought into a new autoCad drawing all with the same coordinate system. All display fine when zoomed out to the extents but when I zoom in the features dissappear. The scaleing is set to the default 0 to infinity insode of the styleing so they should dissapear like they are or like one would think if that was set to something else.

I also can not snap to these features while zoomed in either.

What would be causing this?

hi,

if only some features disappear while zooming in - could be that the SHP index (*.idx)  file is damaged.

Just delete the idx files.

Applies to older an current version:

http://docs.autodesk.com/MAP/2013/ENU/files/readme-map.htm - search for "idx"
