SHP to 3D contour lines

Hi Every body,

I'm new to Map 3D. We have shape file that I imported to MAP 3D using mapimort, I would like to get the contour lines in 3D and then open them in AutoCAD general and see them in 3D (They must have a z value). How can I do that.

Thanks

The Z value is probably in the Object Data. To get the contours at elevation you will have to; import them to a new drawing; save and close that drawing; open or create the drawing you want them in; attach the drawing with the contours in it in the Map Explorer tab of the Task Pane and perform a Query.

See this thread for some of the steps. If the contours you need are in the same units, an expression will not be needed.
