Object Data not present when SDF is Imported

Hai>>

I'm tryin to import the sdf which has already data in it.
When I'm once again importing the same in to AMAP5.0 I dont see the object table>>>although I type a dummy table it says columns not found>>>
The interface in earlier versions were quite easy>>>
Any help is very much appreciated>>
Thanks in advance,
Nandakishore.K.R.

Hello,

You can receive this message when attempting update
object tables that don't exist in the DWG.

When importing data elements to object data, you
must specify the object data table and fields (these must already exist in the
DWG).

If you want to create a new table or field,
clickteh Create New Table or Create New Field buttons.

Thanks Mark>>

My doubt is supposing if I dont have dwg how do I know the no of fields>>>
Well my doubt is if I make a batch file and make a sdf which already had 5 fields in them now inporting them as sdf>>once again exporting the same as dwg>>
I dont find those five fields>>
so that is u have an option to have only 3fields ie., sdfname, sdfkey and url>>>
If Iam not wrong in the previous version ie.,Amap4.0 when exporting a sdf I could get all the fields present in as objectdata>>>correct me if I'm wrong>>>
Please clear this doubt>>>ASAP>>

Nandoo:)

I am having similar issues
Loosing information form sdf files when importing to Map 2004
These files originated in mapinfo then where posted to the web,On the web all information shows up. Then I go to edit in Map 2004 and loose half the file, the information just doesn’t come in?
everthing ells seem to be fine.
Any ideas?
