Object Data not Editable

Object data are not editable or visible (map>object data >edit) after file
has been saved/closed and re-opened. The table appears in the object table
list when a feature is selected and can be modified (object data>define) ,
but neither the fields nor the data are visible. They are visible and
editable when the same file is attached and the objects are queried for
draw. The object data were created by database link to blocks. I'm using
Autocad Map 2000. Any ideas or solutions?

Try looking to see how many records are attached to the object when you get the edit OD dialog box up. It may be attaching a new record each time with blank vaules. ..Murph
