Using Ncopy is a time killer, is there a setting or variable I can change so I can window select objects and lines from the xref I am using?

Seletcing one object or line at a time is like eating each pea off the plate one pea at a time. Im hungry.... and I'm hungry now! Ain't nobody got time for that!

Hi,

if you need to copy a lot of objects from an XRef into your current drawing then click onto the XRef right click for context menu and "Open XRef" to get it opened in a separate window/as separate drawing. Then you can use _COPYBASE and _PASTECLIP with a lot of objects without any issues.

You might also look to the Map3D technology for query data from one drawing into your current using commands _ADEDRAWINGS and _ADEQUERY, not the same as XRef, but for getting a (filtered) selection of data from external drawings into the current dwg it's a great workflow.
