Mapinfo & Map 6 Which is better?

I need to know if Mapinfo or Map 6 is better than the other.
Any input would be helpful

That's like asking: What's better...  a
McIntosh Apple or a Granny Smith Apple...

All depends on your taste...

The group will likely need a little more info on
what you need to accomplish before anybody can make any suggestions or

Jess,

If you are going to create and edit data then use Map, if you are going to use the data and analyse it then use MapInfo. MapInfo has very basic editing functions and is difficult to draw and change line work whereas I find Map only has basic analysis tools and some of which are very limited like the thematic tool.
