Map5 and Oracle

When i try connect to Oracle Database I receive:

Command: _oraconnect
D:\Program Files\Autodesk Map 5\AcMapOrclUI.arx cannot find a procedure
that it needs.
Unknown command "ORACONNECT". Press F1 for help.

Should I make some additional cofiguration first?

Hello Darek.

It sounds like you need to install the Oracle Client on your machine.
You should be able to download it from Oracle.

Warren almost got it - you need the Oracle client (installed and configured)
but this error comes from a lack of the "OO4O" component ("Oracle OLEDB for
Objects" I think).

This is also freely downloadable from Oracle - I read it is needed somewhere
but now can't find the reference. The Map help should certainly make it
clearer.

Thanks Crispin,
I've downloaded 8.1.7 client from Oracle and it works!

I've searched on-lne help for this topic - it's not easy to find required information.
