Map3D 2013 Not Opening After Install

Hi Everyone, 


I have installed & uninstalled Map3d approximately 3 times now.  It seems to install normally but when I try to open the program a small window blinks really fast which says "Please wait while Windows configures AutoCAD Map 3D 2013".  Then nothing happens.  No errors or anything.


I'm running Windows 7 and I do have Map 3D 2012 still installed (I've had two different versions installed in the past with no problems).


Please Help.  Sure would be nice to upgrade!  :-)

Hello Kristy!


It sounds like you might have an issue with the secondary installer.

Can you please check out the following forum threads and let me know if they resolve the issue?

Hi Philip,


I tried your suggestions.  I opened each program and was able to complete registering Map 3D with one of the programs that was bundled with Map3d.  However, I have not activated it because I still cannot open Map 3D.


I have also checked the permissions on the APPData folder.  No Luck.


Need to try another un-install/re-install?????
