Map2000 Export to .Shp File...

I am facing a trouble while exporting a drawing containing Lwpolyline features with Object Data to shape in AutoCAD Map 2000. Below is the Object Data Info
It is creating .shp,.shx files and not creating .dbf file.

No. of fields : 45 to 50 fields
Field Name : up to 18 characters
Fields type : Character

But it is exporting to mif file perfectly.
But i want to export my drawing to shape only.

Can any one help me out what might be the reasons for this trouble.

This may be a silly question but your are selecting
to include the object data when you export.

Ranga,

AutodeskMap 2000 does not export object data table above 33 fields (even if you have defined 50 fields, 17 fields are left out), to a shape file. This is fixed in 2002 version.

The exported field names also are restricted to 10 characters only. All the fields that are above 10 characters are truncated suitably and exported.
