Map 2000 with WIN98

Map 2000/Win 98

User has saved a file as usual but cannot re-open it. It gets stuck at 68%
open
with a "rewrite APP file" error. The .bak cannot be opened as well.

Has anyone encountered this issue?

Hi TIA,
Do you know the exact error message? Has user tried recover or rename the
.bak file and then try to open? It sounds like there's a problem with
applications. Is user trying to load any ObjectARX, VBA, DBX or LSP, VLX ,
FAS applications? Is this the first time user has encountered this error?
