Hi there,
I have a client with two work stations running AutoCAD Map 3D 2013 in Classic Map mode workspace. The system variable MEASUREINIT is set to <1>. However, when you begin a new drawing and type MEASUREMENT the variable is always <0>.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I only have the standard version of AutoCAD 2013 but it functions accordingly on my version.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Are they starting with an metric or imperial dwt?
Thank you for your reply.
Sorry, I guess I didn't explain myself clearly enough. If they don't use a template but simply open AutoCAD in a new drawing from scratch, the global system variable MEASUREINIT should define the drawing mode (either Metric <1> or Imperial <0>)
In the standard AutoCAD 2013 this works fine. However, in Map 3D 2013 no matter how the MEASUREINIT variable is set, the MEASUREMENT variable remains at <0>.

Hi,
in AutoCAD 2013, default template is acadiso.dwt so MEASUREINTI is used.
in MAP 2013, default template is MAP2DISO.DWT so MEASUREINIT is not used
