MAPIMPORT: Invalid linetype eNullObjectId on AUDIT

Hello,

I'm working in Map 2009 and am using MAPIMPORT to import SDF files. If I run AUDIT  on the results I get the following message: "Invalid linetype eNullObjectId changed to ByLayer" for each pline that was imported.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this?
