MAP 3D 2006 CPU Uitlization at 75-99%

I have noticed jerky motion and slowness in the performace of the program. I
do have serveral other programs going but have not seen this in MAP 3D 2005.
Applied hotfixes. The notebook is a Dell M70 with 2 GB memory.

Any ideas?

TIA

If you wouldn't mind, please send me some contact info at
brettb@autodesk.com. This may be related to a problem I am trying to find
some information on and it would be useful to talk to someone who is seeing
this issue.

Thanks.

Sometimes when I exit the internet exploxer browser, it does not exit properly. It closes but something remains. Look in your task manager under processes for something like IEXPORER.EXE. Dont end process on EXPLORER.EXE though by mistake.
Also my verison was running very slow, so I ran AD-AWARE on the pc and this cleared up some of my problems.
My mouse becomes jerky if the object snap and snap mode buttons are both depressed at the same time.
My utilization usually runs around 20% cpu and 50% of my memory resources. I have a Dell Latitude D810 with 512k ram
