Join atributes from xls to table in shp

Sorry, if I repeat topic but I can't find any solution here.

Do you know how to join atributes from xls/xlsx to table in shp file?

I attache some sample files.

I have shp with 3 poligones. Each has two atributes in the table. I prepared some table in excel. Now I want to join this file to shp's table.

Do You have any Idea how to do this?

Should I connect this file though FDO? (ODBC)

Have the table and the shape a common ID..?

First create a view in the Excell file.

Next use the Windows ODBC admin to create an odbc connection to that speadsheet/file

Then in Map3D use FDO to make a ODBC connection and select the odbc connection you created in the ODBC Admin.

Then you can create a join to the FDO connected shp file provided you have a command field in both.

Beware the version of Map3D, MS Office, and 63/32 bit os has a lot to it working.
