Invalid Data or Data not found bug in Shape file import.

I think I found the systematic problem related to the above error when trying to do a file translation. If I select a specific directory to find the files to use for an import a a shape file and run an import, then try to go to a subdirectory of the original directory I get the above error. I can go up two or more directories and select that directory, then move back down the directory tree, and it works OK. I still haven't overcome the shape file problem where the object data table gets forgotten when the file is imported.

Thanks
Patrick

Patrick,

I have not understood your problem clearly. If you can explain a bit
more (possibly send me a sample SHP file by e-mail), I am willing to
take a look and let you know.

Regards
Rakesh
