Mapimport help clearly states:
. Objects that cross or are enclosed by the rectangular window are imported.
Is there is a way toto query polygons that are way bigger then the queried area?

Hi,
if you don't use the option for "Spatial Filter" in the MAPIMPORT dialog, the import is not limited by any (geographical) boundary.

Thanks for replying.
Unfortunately, it will bring in 700,000 parcels instead of one.
I have tryed option "Current Display" while zooming to the area. Weird stuff, sometimes it works but mostly doesn't.
Hi,
I tried it, not with "current display", but with "window" ... and for a few samples it worked well (internally was handled like AutoCAD selection "crossing").
So polygons were queried when fully or partial inside the window-rectangle.
I did my test with SDF-file, about 200.000 polygons, using Map3D 2014 SP1.

In the drawing query by location there is an option "Point". Works as expected. I need something like this for importing polygons from shape files
MV,
You marked two Solutions a year-and-a-half ago. Were they not really solutions? To be honest, I don't understand what your original question was about. Can you elaborate, maybe throw in a screenshot or two? Or post your data or drawing?
