Import geodatabase file into Map 3d 2015

Is it posible to add a geodatabase (.gdb) file into Map 3d 2015. I know this was not available before and am wondering if this has changed.

Thanks

Hello

Sorry I am not sure but I think that since MAP R2014 (32 bits only), you have a direct ESRI FDO driver able to connect to some GDB files !?

But you have to check or better wait to an other "ACAD MAP GIS Specialist" ...

Hi there,

No, there is no change in 2015 to the way AutoCAD Map 3D connects to ESRI geodatabases. The same requirements still apply:

http://beingcivil.typepad.com/my_weblog/2014/02/working-with-esri-file-based-databases-in-autocad-ma...

Some workarounds are suggested in the above blog post in case you need them.

Is the geodatabase on an ArcServer? If so, you may try using "ArcGIS for AutoCAD" to connect to it by adding the ArcServer as a GIS Service.

I haven't got our ArcServer running fully, so I haven't been able to try this. Please let us know how it goes.
