I need a solution about "-MAPEXPORT"

Hi, how are you?
I'm developing with Visual Lisp in AutoCAD MAP 2000i Release 4.5.
I have a problema with the "-MAPEXPORT" command line, the answer returned in
command line is "67 objeto(s) exportado(s) en 0 seg(s)", this seems to be
OK, but when i try open then SHP file with ARCView 3.1, I see the file is
empty and i see the size of the SHP, SHX and DBF files is only 1K. When i do
the export process from then menu bar, export and opening with ARCView
process is OK.
Ï read in this discussion group about making a new dwg file with only the
objects to export, that solution doesn´t work
Please give me a solution for this, can you give me a patch, and upgrade, a
service pack... or something can help me. Do you know if this problem is
fixed in another version of AutoCAD MAP?
Please send me an answer as soon as posible, I need it a lot. I´m developing
an application for my best client and i haven´t got much time.

Greetings,
I use the command MAPEXPORT4 sometimes I can use the selections buttons, but for unknown reasons sometimes it does not work and I have to use the command line. Try to ad the 4 at the end and see if it works.

As a possible quick fix, use the Mapexport from the Tool menu, make the
appropriate selections, including the Object Data table, and then instead of
exporting the file, use the option to save your parameters to a file. Close
the Mapexport dialog box, and then from the command line use -Mapexport and
then chose to load the file you just saved. From there you can select the
objects you want to export and continue through the command, and the
resulting shape file should contain the Object Data table information.

Why? I don't know, but somehow importing the saved file sets some unknown
key that allows the export to work.
