How to 're-query' or search

I've imported a portion of a shp file by querying using a polygonal shape. Now, several weeks later I find the area is too big. How do I crop it down?

I don't want to have to redo my styles or anything.... I've tried Search with no real luck.

Nevermind. Figured it out.

I went to task pane, selected my shp file (parcels) then picked the tools icon for Search.

Within the Search dialog box, I picked the original query and it offered me the option to replace it with a new query.

Cool, if not a bit cumbersome and not terribly intuitive...
