How do I restore my MAP menu item.

I have looked for an hour trying to get the map menu item back. I used RegCure and it messed up autocad MAP. I found some threads that said I need to restore classic view, but way can I find out how to do it using the help.

Thanks,
Pat

Jez,
I guess I will have to go through this once a year or so. There is a little cog shaped icon in the lower right of the screen. Click on that and change to map classic. The help system really sucks. I typed in "map classic" a dozen different ways with things like restore map classic... and nothing was even close to being helpful.

Pat, they are called workspaces and were introducted in version 2006. If you
look in the new feature section of help there should be some info on them.
Also you may want to check out the help on the "CUI" Customized Users
Interface. On the help pages there is a link that lets you contact the help
team that creates the helps files, use it and let the help writers know what
you think. If you had a hard time finding the info then others will too.
