Google Earth extension

Hello again!

What happened with Google Earth extension?

I cannot find it in labs. I've instaleed Map2012 on new laptop and I'm sure I had Google Earth plug in on the old one.

Can anyone help with where do I find GE for Map 2012?

Thanks a lot for help!!

Ania

check out the discussion on GE in the Civil3D forumn - probably explains it better, but Google and AD appear to be parting ways...  AD may be too far in with Microsoft and transferring over to Bing Maps as an alternate... But the Bing plug in is only good through June 30, so....

Moreover, the Basejump Project supports only 2013 releases, so Ania's one is out.

An alternative solution (working in my Map2006) is to load the Bing imagery in a free Gis as Openlayers resource, then exporting the pair TIF+TFW, which will be _MAPIINSERTed in Autocad.

Thank you guys 🙂

but you lost me with that AD 😉

All i need to do is to export dwg to GE 🙂

I have map2013 but i find it rubbish so far 😕

AD = AutoDesk

Kochana, if you only wanna export DWG objects to GE, simply _MAPEXPORT them to shape LL84, then look for a tool like SHP2KML to get all in Google Earth format...
