Hello Monica,
Autodesk Map doesn't have the ability to create point objects from a point
database or text file. You'll need Autodesk Land Desktop.

Hi Monica,

There are some free tools to download Garmin files and create point to
import into autocad as dxf. Do a search for them on the internet. Garmin's
old download software would output a dxf I believe.
