Hello All,
I recently installed AutoCAD Map 3D 2008, and can't seem to launch it. Whenever I launch it, I get FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x4eadead4 Exception at 78307b71h. I am running Windows XP Professional SP2 with all of the updates. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get Map 3D to work?

Was there other Autodesk products installed before you installed MAP 3D?

Yes, I have Autodesk Inventor installed. Can I not run both Inventor and Map 3D on the same system?

Yes you can run Inventor and Map3D on the same workstation. You just need to
install them in the correct order and following the directions in the readme
for the installs. Install as Admin, turn off all virus checkers before
installing, close any other programs running, and a few other items you need
to follow depending on your OS and networks etc.
