EXPORTING THE SURFACE TO ARCMAP

It is possible to export only the surface of a solid in the form of a polygon for arcmap?

I would explode that solid, then _FLATTEN all, then _MAPCLEAN to extract the 2D boundary, finally _MAPEXPORT to polygon shape.
