In Land Desktop there was a tool to convert 2D polylines to 3D polylines and would transfer the object data to the new 3D polyline. The 2d to 3d polyline tool in Civil 3D does not transfer the object data. I am posting this to the Map 3D board since Map deals with the object data the most and since Civil 3D is built on Map. Is there any other way to convert a 2D polyline to 3D polyline and transfer the object data?

Why do you need to transform a 2d poly in a 3d one, sir..?
A 2d poly containing an elevation attribute is easily convertable in a full 3d contour, without any transformation, by means of a simple query.
This is a requirement by the FAA for their eALP drawings. This has nothing to do with contours.
While the lisp routine provided does act as a work around solution, what needs to be done is the 2d to 3d polyline conversion tool in Civil 3D to be fixed to include the object data.
