Can't import points from lat long into COHP-NF

HI all,
I have a dwg file in lat long and I attach it and assign coordinate system, but it fails to convert the coordinate system to COHP-NF - Colorado state plane feet. It is strange that all the coordinate systems are listed but it can't handle the conversion.

Is there a way to get this to work?
