Autodesk Map 2004 acadmap.log error

I installed the new Autodesk Map 2004 the other day. I'm running it on Windows XP Professional. When I start it I get the following errors:

error 2600 acadmap.log file is not active
error 3105 acadmap.log file is read-only

I've tried changing the setting in the map, options, system tab but the changes I make don't seem to take effect and I get the same error the next time I start Map 2004. Any body have the same problem or find a fix? I think it has something to do with admin rights in XP cuz when I had admin rights to install the program, it worked fine.

Yes, it is because of admin rights. It appears you now only have read
rights to the directory for the log file. You should change the log
file location in Autocad under options to a location that you have full
rights to.
