AutoCad Maps 3D 2011 Seems to Reverted to AutoCad 2011

This issue has been solved.

But in a nut shell, My AutoCad Maps 3D 2011 seem to loose all of its Mapping capability. A big indicator was, when I opened a file... The top middle title read as follows - AutoCad 2011 "filename.dwg" opposed to AutoCad Map 3D 2011 "filename.dwg"

I also couldn't complete any mapping functions, no task pane. No map classic workspace... The list goes on and on.

I solved this issue by repairing my AutoCad Maps 3D 2011 Installation.

But does anyone know why this happened?

Hi,

I guess you lost some path settings, if not verify that you have loaded a Map3D-specific menu as Master-CUI.

My path settings (for Windows7) are:

• C:\Users\<your login name>\appdata\roaming\autodesk\autocad map 3d 2011\r18.1\deu\support
• C:\program files\autodesk\autocadmap3d2011\support
• C:\program files\autodesk\autocadmap3d2011\fonts
• C:\program files\autodesk\autocadmap3d2011\express
• C:\program files\autodesk\autocadmap3d2011\support\color
• C:\program files\autodesk\autocadmap3d2011\fdo\bin

The red parts have to be changed to your needs.

I figured that might be an issue, agian, this issue has been solved but if this issue happens agian I will look into the path settings.
