AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 using Info-level license

I have a client that has an ArcGIS license manager that contains ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop Basic (Viewer) and ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced (Info) licenses.  When opening AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 and connecting to ArcSDE, ACMap consumes an Info-level license.  Is there any way to set or force the ArcGIS ArcView license instead of the Info license for AutoCAD Map 3D?

It sounds like a 'cascading' question (in network-licensing speak)...

Now I'm not sure if this applies, but I know that there was a known issue with the 2012 release (that was resolved with the release of 2013) regarding an ESRI license getting pulled when using other FDO Providers, such as SDF. Basically AutoCAD Map 3D would hold onto an ESRI license until the program was closed.
