AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 crashing when plotting

Hello,

This is a problem that has started up in the last week.

When one of our users try to Plot, Publish or use Page Set Up, AutoCAD crashes to desktop.

No Error Codes come up.

This is happening with both new drawings or legacy drawings.

Hi,

if I understand your situation correctly, you start AutoCAD, create a new drawing (based on an Autodesk original template), goto layout and start plot:

  • you don't get the plot-dialog and it crashes   ....or
  • you get a plot-dialog, you define your printer (which one) and then press "PLOT" and it crashes     ....or
  • you get a plot-dialog, you set up to print to DWF and then you press "PLOT" and it crashes

If you get the plot-dialog, does PREVIEW work?

Let us know the ansers to the above questions. 😉

It crashes prior to getting to the dialog box.

Plot preview crashes it.

Page setup crashes it with a new drawing, no dialog box.

Restart that pc, log in as administrator WITHOUT netwoking, and try to plot from Autocad: any changes?
