AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 and databases

I recenlty installed AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 64-bit on Windows 7. I am using the SQL Server Spatial Connection in CAD to connect to the database. I get as far as connecting to the database but cannot see anything in it. Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.

Murph -
Since I am a database illiterate, could you explain that to me.
Thanks,

Yes - there is an existing data store. I can connect to it but nothing shows up in "Data Connect" dialogue box under "Add Data to Map". The Schema list is empty. Sorry about that -

And it worked before? I would try creating a new schema in that data store,
connect to a SDF file and bulk copy it the the SQL Spatial server.

The connection to the database worked on my "old" computer - AutoCAD 2010 32-bit Windows XP Professional. I recently upgraded to a new new computer - Windows 7 64-bit. The list in the "Data Connetions by Provider" in the Data Connection dialogue box no longer contains a connection to ArcSDE. I believe what replaced that connection is "Add SQL Server Spatial Connection". What was in the 32-bit AutoCAD 2010 is not in the 64-bit AutoCAD. The database is already setup and maintained by ArcGIS not AutoCAD.

Ok got it now, The ESRI SDE is running on a SQL Server. You still need to
access it with the SDE connections, if you do not have that on the 64 bit
system then I would say there is not FDO Provider for SDE in 64 bit yet.
